Continuing Education & Training (CET) Courses

SSI offers a suite of Continuing Education and Training (CET) programmes which provide learners with certificate, diploma and degree based qualifications.

CET Programmes offered by SSI

• Advanced Certificate in Social Service¹
  This foundational course will provide social service professionals with the necessary knowledge and skillsets required to carry out their roles effectively when working with clients, partners and stakeholders.

• Advanced Certificate in Supported Employment (ACSE)
  The Advanced Certificate in Supported Employment (ACSE) aims to build capabilities of job coaches in providing employment and employability support for persons with disabilities.

• Certificate in Para-Counselling in Community Setting
  This course equips learners with the fundamental knowledge and skills in counselling that is required when working alongside certified counselling professionals.

• Higher Diploma in Social Service (HDSS)
  The programme provides an articulation pathway into Bachelor in Social Work at the Singapore University of Social Services (SUSS). This is ideal for learners who wish to pursue a career in Social Work.

• Professional Certificate in Casework

• Professional Certificate in Groupwork
